This position is a combination Project Manager/Technical Analyst.

Project Management Duties:

• Plans and manages schedules and budgets.
• Monitors the project from initiation through delivery.
• Organizes the interdepartmental activities ensuring completion of the project/product on schedule and within budget constraints.
• Develops and manages the project plan, including project scope, development/delivery schedule, resource requirements and integration efforts; Develops and manages a communication plan to include content, frequency, audience and channels; Works with management staff to establish appropriate project structure and staffing plans, and participates in the staffing process.
• Sets goals, objectives and priorities; assigns and reviews work, resolves conflict.
• Manages resource additions and deletions over the life of the projects; Interfaces with the customer, internal or external, regarding project deliverables.

Technical Analyst Duties:
• Identify business requirements.
• Interprets business needs and translates them into system requirements.
• Writes business specifications and forwards to technical staff for system development.
• Acts as the conduit between a user group and an IT development team.

Specialized Knowledge and Skills Required:
• Working knowledge of phases of the product life cycle, including engineering specifications, customer requirements gathering, software design and development, testing - including unit, functional, systems and integration - implementation/delivery and maintenance
• Possesses and applies an expert knowledge of project management principles, practices, and procedures to the completion of assignments. (PMP preferred)
• Must have excellent leadership qualities.
• Has excellent analytical skills, is detail oriented.
• Proficiency in project scheduling software-MS Project preferred.
• Understands the concepts, definitions and application of project reports.
• Possesses an understanding of quality assurance concepts.
• Working knowledge of engineering specifications, customer requirements gathering, software design and development, testing - including unit, functional, systems and integration, implementation/delivery and maintenance.
• Systems Integration: Knowledge of how different systems interact, including potential problems and difficulties that may occur.
