Entre sus responsabilidades se encuentran:

Provides Engineering and Design support for a suite for a suite of enterprise system monitorign and management tools including:
- HP Openview for Operations application suite.
- Enterprise Configuration Management.
- NetQ Appmanager.
- Mainframe automation tools OPS/MVS and System Automation 390.
- Work with subject matter experts in supported technology areas to develop and modify monitoring policies for server, network devices, other infraestructure components and applications.
- Serve as primary contacts and interface with supported product vendors for problem escalation, planned upgrades and recommended improvments.
- Schedule and manage product upgrades.
- Serves as escalation point for operational problem resolution.
- Consults and advise system management analysts, and other key users and stakeholders as needed.
- Develop and maintain Security and Controls practices to ensure a safe reliable monitoring services.

Se requieren conocimientos de:

- Good knowledge of HP Openview for Operations.
- Good knowledge of scripting languages such as Pearl, sh and Java.
- Good knowledge of Windows operating system, commandas and utilities.
- Good knowledge of UNIX operating system, commands and utilities.
- Excellent analytical skills including problem analyst and resolution.
- Good communication skills and ability to teach and mentor others.
- Team player with good interpersonal skills.
- Proactive, customer problem-solving orientation.
