Entre sus responsabilidades se encuentran:
• Maintain the security and controls of the backup procedures and processes
• Backup scheduling
• Backup of SAN environment
• Monitoring of backup infrastructure
• Level-two Data Restores
• System level analysis and troubleshooting of problems
• Second level support for all backup related issues or problems (Help Desk is level one support).
Se requieren conocimientos de:
• Computing Environment:
Backup Software: NetBackup, Backup Exec, Legato, Bocada, GDM
Storage Management Software: Navisphere, ECC, Symantec Command Central
Backup Hardware: Quantum, Dell, StorageTek
Storage Hardware: EMC, Clariion, Symmetrics, NetApps
Environment: SAN, NAS, Unix, Windows
Desirable Skills or Skills Willing-to-Train:
• Technical Training Provided for this Position Includes:
Backup and storage software (e.g., Netbackup, online Quantum hardware training, etc.)
• Other Comments/Considerations:
Symantec Netbackup certification exams a plus
