Nos encomendaron la búsqueda de un Midrange Engineering & Technical Support Analyst para una de las principales compañías de energía del mundo.

Entre sus responsabilidades se encuentran:

• Provide engineering/design and consulting services for the downstream UNIX and AS400 environments - that follow the UNIX Server Service Control Statement (SCS)
• Includes the creation and updating of ISRMP (security and controls) and standards/practices documentation.
• Provide UNIX technical support (L3) for those systems that follow the UNIX Server SCS and XMU “standard” - this may include providing after hours on-call coverage as part of the Midrange ETS L3 On Call Rotation.
• Conduct technology evaluations for Midrange products.
• Act as vendor focal point for technical engineering and design (design/solutions) and technical support issues as required


Se requieren conocimientos de:

• Advanced knowledge of UNIX (HP UX, AIX, Solaris)
• Knowledge of other UNIX Operating Systems(e.g. LINUX)
• Knowledge/experience on UNIX Scripting - Perl, KSH, CSH, etc.
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills required.
• Knowledge of UNIX security practices and tools
• Willingness to learn and contribute
